The One Lane Bridge

The Renwick Road Bridge is a through truss bridge over Du Page River in Plainfield, Illinois was built ca.1890 by the Wrought Iron Bridge Company. The bridge is also known as the Spring Banks Road Bridge or simple the One Lane Bridge to many residents of Plainfield, Illinois. The historic bridge was replaced by a two lane bridge to the north on October 19th, 2012.
